CL3 fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) facility

The Laboratory of Viral Zoonotics has designed and run a state of the art Containment Level 3 (CL3) laboratory at the University and operate a new multi-parameter fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) facility for infectious samples up to CL3.

We operate a 4 laser, 18 colour, high performance ARIA III (BD Biosciences) cell sorter. If you would like to use our FACS machine for your research, please fill out this application form and we will get back to you with our availability and pricing as soon as possible.

The department also has sequencing facilities on-site which may be available for use.
